I am currently a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I have been pursuing a master's degree in engineering. I've been enrolled at Rensselaer for five years now, and have received my bachelor's degree in materials engineering from the institution. I love having the opportunity to work with students who are interested in learning more about math, science, and engineering. I find it to be very rewarding to have the opportunity to share my expertise with a new generation of students so that they can grow up to be the top engineers of tomorrow. One of the reasons why I'm an effective tutor is because I work hard to build relationships with my students. I want to know their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their interests, so that I'm able to come up with creative ways to help them learn. I believe that the best way to reach a student is to make the study material engaging, so that they benefit from a hands-on learning experience. Because of my background in engineering, I especially enjoy tutoring math and sciences. However, I'm also qualified to help anyone prepare for an upcoming standardized test like the SAT and GRE. When I'm not working and teaching, I like to spend my time reading, hiking, and playing soccer.
